Melanoma is on the other hand the most dangerous type of skin cancer because it can spread throughout the different parts of your body.
Squamous cell carcinoma develops on sun exposed areas like hands, face, ears and lips and look like
- The sore that is flat and have a surface that is crusted and scaly
- A nodule that is red and tender
Basal cell carcinoma grows on areas that are often exposed to the sun and looks
- Flesh in color or like a brown blemish abrasion that is flat
- A smooth or glassy nodule on the skin
Melanoma can grow on any part of the body, to skins that are normal or to a mole that has turned out to be cancerous. On men, it develops on neck, trunk and head. For women, it is developed in the legs. Melanoma on both, men and women, occur on ares that are not exposed under the sun. It has an appearance that includes
- Mole that is bleeding and changes in color and size
- Darks sores under your fingernails and toes, palms, mouth lining, soles, nose, anus and genital areas
- Bumps that have borders that are irregular and have spots that have shades of tan, white, blue and red
